When I studied for my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, I discovered a whole new world that, rather than answering my questions, generated many more. To this day, it has become more than just a passion—it is a way of life. Determined to deepen my knowledge, I completed the Master’s Degree in Third Generation Psychological Therapies and the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology.
I began my professional career at the Joan XXIII Foundation as a Psychologist in charge of the Residential Service, where I worked directly with people with intellectual disabilities. This was a very enriching period of my life, and I enjoyed every moment.
Subsequently, I worked at the Mater Misericordia Early Care Center, where I provided psychological care to children with neurodevelopmental and learning disorders. I also loved developing new skills with the children. Currently, I combine my professional practice with teaching as an Associate Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands—another passion that I thoroughly enjoy.
My academic and professional background has allowed me to develop a wide range of skills and knowledge. During my training at the “Psychological Well-Being Space” at UIB, I specialized in the evaluation and diagnosis of anxiety-depressive disorders and ADHD within a university setting, which was a very rewarding and interesting experience.
My experience also includes training at the Inca Regional Hospital, where I conducted group and individual interventions with people diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, anxiety-depressive disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
To me, each person is unique and deserves personalized treatment tailored to their needs and pace. I am passionate about my profession and am always seeking new techniques and treatments based on scientific evidence to provide the best possible care.
