I decided that I wanted to be a psychologist when I was 13 years old… I began by knowing that I wanted to help people and, thus, of all possible options, I knew that my vocation was to be a psychologist. With this objective in mind I started studying a Degree in Psychology and, before finishing it, I was attracted to the following areas of specialization: sexology and couple problems… Cupid sometimes needs help, or so they say… So I did a Master’s Degree in Sexology and Couple’s therapy and I started my professional career in my own office in 2008 helping the others to grow and improve their quality of life by therapy
But the desire to train myself never left me, which lead me to take a Postgraduate Degree in Gender Violence and shortly after a Master’s Degree in Psycho-oncology asa well as specialising in Mourning and Loss. These three fields allow, without a doubt, to offer help to people with a high level of suffering. And I can only say that they have been, like the rest of my training, one of the most enriching experiences of my life. Currently, I also have the accreditation of General Health Psychologist granted by the Health Department.
Nevertheless, never stop learning. Some time later, in my eagerness to keep up with the times in the most innovative therapeutic tolos I was trained in EMDR therapy and other psycological problems related with the Trauma and Dissociation. In this way, both therapeutic approaches, I can attend to the needs of my patients with the highest quality.
And here I am, continuously working and training.
I hope and wish from my heart to help you… it is what I always wanted to do.
